Sign Up
Camp Northstar has a 4-step sign-up process. Sign-ups open on January 1st, 2024 and close on January 31st, 2024 – Sign up is now closed.
1 - Sign-up form
To sign up for Camp North Star you will have to fill out our Sign-Up form. The game has 65 spots and we will create a waitlist should there be high demand for the game.
2 - Flagging
After the sign up has ended we will send out a flagging form where we ask all potential players to look over everyone who has signed up and consider them in the following categories. Failure to fill out this form will forfeit your spot in the sign-up.
- Green – Here you can name potential players you really want to play with.
- Yellow – Here you can name potential players that you do not want any prearranged play with (written relations, shared rooms, same squad), but you have no problem with them attending the game.
- Red – Here you can name potential players that you do not want to attend the LARP with at all.
There will of course be an option to answer indifferent for all players too. All information will be kept confidential. Be aware that all members of the crew will be present at the LARP.
3 - Casting
After the sign-up and flagging period has ended we will look at the forms and cast players for the game, deciding who gets the spots based on character wishes and input from the flagging form.
4 - Payment
If you have received a spot at the game we will reach out with a method of payment via email. Failure to pay before the 28th of february will forfeit your spot at the game unless an agreement has been made with the organisers. We offer no refunds on tickets.
The waiting list
Since sign-up is now closed you can sign up for waiting list. The process is much the same as the sign-up process. When a spot becomes vacant we will contact people from the waiting list whose character preferences matches with the vacant character. Current players will be allowed to flag players from the waiting list who are being subbed in. After the flagging you will officially be offered a spot in the game.
